Our trip officially starts with picking you up from Jorge Chavez Airport.
We check-in to our hotel and rest, and then head on a guided city tour of Lima, exploring and enjoying the marvelous colonial architecture and historical attractions.
Head back to hotel for a good night’s sleep.
We take the morning flight to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport, Cusco.
We check-in to our hotel and rest, while getting comfortable with the altitude (Cusco is about 11,200 feet or 3,400 meters above sea level).
We head to explore Cusco Town to know about Cusco’s rich history, culture, and architecture. Plaza de Armas, the main square of Cusco, surrounded by historic buildings, cafes, and shops. We admire the beautiful Spanish colonial architecture and lively atmosphere. We then visit Cusco Cathedral (Iglesia de la Asunción): A stunning Catholic cathedral built on the site of an Inca temple Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) an ancient Inca temple dedicated to the sun god, Inti. We explore the impressive stone walls, courtyards, and ornate decorations. Finally, San Pedro Market, a vibrant marketplace offering local produce, handicrafts, and souvenirs. We can try local fruits, cheeses, and traditional Andean cuisine.
Following this enriching tour, we return to your hotel for a restful night’s stay in Cusco.
We checkout from the hotel after breakfast and head to explore The Sacred Valley.
The Sacred Valley is a hidden gem between Cusco and Machu Picchu with ancient fortresses, traditional villages, and majestic Andes Mountains await.
We start our journey from Cusco, the ancient Inca capital.
Salineras (Salinas de Maras): Our next stop is Salineras de Maras, which is made up of more than 3,000 natural salt wells near the town of Maras.
Moray: Moray is an ancient Inca agricultural site in Peru’s Sacred Valley, which has circular terracing and mysterious concentric rings that might just look like an amphitheater.
Urubamba: Urumba is a charming town that is surrounded by tall Andean peaks in the heart of the Sacred Valley with beautiful landscapes where we stop for lunch.
Ollantaytambo: Ollantaytambo is an ancient Inca fortress town in the Sacred Valley, with impressive stone architecture, steep terracing, and stunning Andean views, showcasing the marvels of Incas’ engineering and military prowess.
We start early in the morning and take the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes (the town at the foot of Machu Picchu)

We set to visit the legendary “Lost City of the Incas” – Machu Picchu! We start early in the morning and take the bus from Puente Ruinas station in Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu.
Machu Pichu-Machu Picchu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World, is an ancient Inca citadel set high in the Andes Mountains of Peru, above the Urubamba Valley. Built in the 15th century, it’s an engineering marvel and a testament to Inca ingenuity. This mysterious “Lost City” is situated on a mountain ridge 7,972 feet above sea level, that is surrounded by lush cloud forest and towering peaks. Our visit includes a guided tour of its iconic structures like The Mirador, Temple of the Three Windows, The Intihuatana, and more. home to impressive stone architecture, including temples, palaces, and aqueducts, this visit is an unforgettable experience.
After exploring Machu Picchu, we return to Cusco. Upon arrival, we’ll check-in to a hotel for comfortable overnight stay followed by a Traditional Dinner at Cusco.
Following breakfast and checkout from hotel, we head to from Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport to board flight to Iquitos International Airport.
We then head to the Port of Iquitos and board one of our swift boats for a captivating trip along the Amazon River. As we sail, enjoy the intersection of the Amazon River and the dark Nanay River, with scenic views of the Peruvian jungle and rural dwellings along the riverbanks. We make a brief stop at Isla de los Monos, a sanctuary for endangered monkeys, showing their reintegration into their natural habitat.

In the afternoon, our first guided expedition is a walk through the Yanamono, led by experienced guides to identify diverse flora, including heliconia flowers and medicinal plants. As evening falls, particularly during the high water season, enjoy a magical open boat ride on an Amazon River tributary, guided solely by glimpses of jungle flora and fauna in the natural ambiance.
Wrap up your day with dinner and a peaceful night’s rest at the lodge.
The day begins with an early morning adventure as we embark on a boat journey to one of the secluded streams, where we encounter an astonishing variety of bird species.
After returning to the lodge for a revitalizing breakfast and a brief rest, we gear up for a visit to the Yagua community. Here, we gain insights into their customs and cultural traditions, with the chance to engage in the use of the “pucuna,” their primary hunting instrument.
In the afternoon, we have the opportunity to engage in artisanal fishing along the Amazon River’s tributaries. Learn about the techniques of traditional fishing and even try your hand at piranha fishing. During this excursion, you may also have the delightful encounter with the amiable pink river
dolphins (Inia geoffrensis). As evening falls, embark on a guided nature walk within the lodge’s surroundings and witness the mesmerizing transformation of the jungle into a nocturnal realm. This is the prime time to spot frogs, elusive snakes, and other creatures that come alive in the darkness. We experience an entirely different side of the jungle, accompanied by the enchanting sounds of nocturnal insects, birds, big cats, and owls.
Return to lodge for overnight stay.
After an excellent breakfast, we head to experience the beauty of the majestic “Victoria Amazónica,” also known as the Victoria Regia, the reigning queen of water lilies. These remarkable water lilies are native to the shallow waters of the Amazon River basin.
We then head back to our lodge for a delectable lunch and check-out, transfer to Iquitos International Airport. to Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, and take the overnight flight to Galeão International Airport in Rio de Janeiro.
Arrival in Rio de Janeiro and check-in to hotel.
After breakfast, we set to explore the magnificence of Rio de Janeiro.
We visit Sambadrome, an iconic outdoor parade ground and then Rio’s Metropolitan Cathedral, a breathtaking mix of ancient traditions with futuristic architecture and a true marvel.
We then explore Municipal Theater, a landmark of Rio and Selaron Staircase, also known as Rainbow stairs, the world most beautiful staircase, work of Chilean-born artist Jorge Selarón who claimed it as “my tribute to the Brazilian people”.
We head to Sugar Loaf Mountain, a peak situated in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the mouth of Guanabara Bay on a peninsula that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean. We explore the world-famous Sugarloaf Mountain in the cable car and the cable car makes two stops, the first at the viewpoint of Urca Hill, the second stop will be at the top of Cerro Corcovado at 395 meters, where you will enjoy the magnificent view of Copacabana Beach, the Santa Cruz fortress, and other places.
We then visit Harbor De Janeiro, one of the 7 Wonders of the World. The harbor of Rio de Janeiro is a bay that spans an immense 88 miles in length. The Harbor of Rio de Janeiro is the world’s largest deep-water bay, containing more water than any other bay in the world, based on the vol- ume of water in it. Because of its size, the Harbor of Rio de Janeiro is considered one of the world’s seven natural wonders.
Head to hotel for overnight rest.
After breakfast, we head to our first destination- one of the seven world wonders, Christ the Redeemer, an iconic Art Deco statue of Jesus Christ, stands 98 feet tall atop Corcovado Mountain, and it offers a breathtaking 360-degree view of the city and Sugarloaf Mountain.
During evening, we take a stroll on Copacabana Beach, one of Rio’s most iconic beaches in the world, along the Atlantic coast, with soft white sand, crystal-clear waters adding to it’s beauty.
After exploring the vibrant cityscape and rich nightlife of Rio, we head back to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel and checkout, we head to Galeão International Airport in Rio de Janeiro, and board flight to Foz do Iguaçu International Airport.
After checking to hotel, we embark on the most beautiful journey to visit on of the natural wonder, the Iguazu Falls, located on the border between Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay, is one of the most awe-in- spiring natural wonders in the world. The Iguazu Falls are wider than the better-known Victoria Falls in Africa and taller than Niagara Falls in North America.
We visit the Brazilian side of Iguassu Falls. Walking around the trails on the Brazilian side Is much easier than walking on the Argentine side of the waterfalls. Located 28 km from the center of the city of Foz do Iguaçu and crosses the Iguaçu River, through the Tancredo Neves Bridge.
After lunch, we visit the Itaipu Dam. The Itaipu Dam is a monu mental engineering marvel located on the Paraná River, straddling the border between Brazil and Paraguay. The Itaipu Dam is one of the largest hydroelectric dams in the world, stretching over 7.7 kilometers (4.8 miles) in length and standing 196 meters (643 feet) tall. It generates an immense amount of electricity, with a total installed capacity of 14 gigawatts, and serves as a vital source of energy for both Brazil and Paraguay, contributing significantly to their power grids. Later we will return back to the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel and checkout, we head to Foz do Iguaçu International Airport and board flight to Guarulhos International Airport in Sao Paulo.
After checkin to hotel and breakfast, we set to explore the wonders of Sao Paulo city.
We start with Ibirapuera Park, Sao Paulo’s lush oasis, with serene lakes and modern architecture.
We head to Paulista Avenue and the gem Sao Paulo Museum of Art (MASP), to experience Renaissance-style buildings, and vibrant cultural institutions.
Next, we head to Liberdade Neighborhood, also called ‘Little Tokyo’ and experience Japanese culture and cuisine in Liberdade, neon lights, sushi bars, and traditional shops.
We head to São Paulo Cathedral a stunning neo-Gothic São Paulo Cathedral, its beautiful stone carvings, stained-glass windows, and majestic architecture.
We then explore Anhangabaú Valley, a major historical and cultural attraction in Sao Paulo, where ancient ruins, museums, and colorful streets thrills us.
Head back to the hotel after a delectable dinner.

Depending on your departure time, you may have some free time in the morning to do some last-minute souvenir shopping.

A non-refundable registration deposit of USD 499 is required at the time of booking. This deposit is essential as it secures advanced reservations for services such as hotels, air travel, and ground transportation.
A Passenger below 12 years is considered as child and above 12 years as an adult.
Check in time in hotel is 1400 hours and check out is 1200 hours.
The prices quoted for the tour package are exclusive of applicable taxes, which shall be calculated at the rate of 8.8% of the total cost of the tour package. The Client acknowledges and agrees that they shall pay the said taxes as part of the tour package cost.
Booking amount will be non –refundable at any circumstances.
There are coach restrictions in some cities, in such situation the tour manager and the drive will do their best to drop you as near to the monuments as possible.
No refund can be entertained for any expenses incurred for the passengers due to circumstances beyond our control such as flight cancellation, airport closure, delays, accident of any nature, bad weather, natural calamities, medical evacuation, supplier policies, visa rejection and visa delay etc.
The company reserves the right to postpone or cancel any of the tours advertised, without assigning any reason. In this case, amount paid by the passengers will be refunded in full and no compensation claim will be entertained.
Due to certain unavoidable circumstances, the company reserves the right to change / modify / vary and alter the tour itinerary. In such changes, compensations or claim for refund by the passengers will not be entertained by the company for limitation and also for the non- availability of certain services with entry tickets, restaurants, sightseeing, shopping etc. even though included in tour itinerary.
For Single Passenger travelling, have to share a room either on twin or triple sharing basis depending on the availability. If we do not have another single passenger to share the room, Single Supplement with additional cost is applicable.
The cost of the tour quotation is calculated based on the rates prevailing at the time of quoting it. Green Book reserves the right to modify the tariff in the event of any change in the said rates before the date of departure.
Hotel accommodation is generally provided on Twin sharing basis in standard rooms and the third bed is often a roll-away mattress put in a twin-bedded room. Air-conditioning, central heating and other facilities are provided by the hotels depending upon various factor including weather / climatic conditions, local laws etc. As a Travel House / Tour Operator, the company does not have any control over Airlines, Coach Companies, Shipping Companies, Hotels, Local Transport or any other facilities provided by the third parties.
The company is not responsible for the delays or deficiencies in the services provided by outside agencies. Also please note that the company does not have any control on schedules of opening and closing timings of the tourist attractions. In computerized reservation system of Airlines seats once reserved cannot be changed.
Any damage caused to the hotel rooms or coach during your stay shall be payable by the passengers.
There are no refunds for any services, i.e., meals, sightseeing’s, flight delay or cancellation of flight etc. not utilized on the tour. The Company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, natural calamity, delay, breakdown or irregularity that may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement.
The visa fees charged to the guest/s shall be at the rates prevailing as on the date of submission of documents to the Embassy or Consulate. Green Book Expeditions shall not be responsible for any errors in the date of Visa granted or delay in granting visa.
The price set for in the Quotation (“Price”) are in United States Dollars. Nothing set forth in Customer’s Purchase Order shall modify or amend the quoted Prices, quantities, and/or the scope of Products or Services offered, unless such modification or addition is agreed to in writing by “TAHOVISTA ADventures LLC” or “Travelista Travel & Media” prior to the Purchase Order.
The prices are exclusive of any taxes (including, without limitation, sales, use, value added, goods and services, business, property (real or personal, tangible or intangible), license, documentation, registration, import, export, excise, franchise, stamp, or other tax), custom fees or tolls, levy, impost, withholding, fee, duty or other charge of any nature imposed by any governmental authority or other tax authority in any jurisdiction, and any and all fines, penalties, additions to tax, interest and other charges relating thereto (collectively, “Taxes”).
